C&R shotguns

i keep on looking for C&R shotguns so that I can put my class 3 ffl to good use, but i seldom see any listed anywhere...any suggestions? also, why is this? shotguns have been around for well over fifty years.

Type 3 FFL, not Class 3 FFL.

FFL = Type
SOT = Class

I just surfed shotguns and then searched within shotguns for "C&R"

That will not catch them all since some sellers don't say their item is C&R.

i'd never previously noticed the distinction between class and type. thanks for the correction.

Other way to search, is goto the "relic" category and search "shotgun".

SARCO often advertises european sporting shotguns and rifles that are C&R in their SGN ad.

Currently I also know of one other place (besides playing the GB game). These may interest you.

Try some sites that cater more to older guns, like doublegunshop.com, the Parker socity, etc. Do a google search or go to shotgunworld.com and scroll all the way down to the "I love my..." section. You will find folks from all over who might have something to sell, or at least can point you in the right direction.
