Noticed there's a feature article about Cheaper Than Dirt in the latest N.R.A.'s America's First Freedom magazine. I read through the article, it was interesting enough but a bit of a 'fluff' piece. I've never dealt with C.T.D. but know a number of people on T.H.R. do. Anyone else seen the article? Any thoughts?

Used to get their catalog. Never ordered anything. Heard awful stuff about their stuff and them. Haven't seen their catalog for awhile. What ammo they got these days?

Haven't read the article, but have bought items from CTD. Had no problems with customer service or product quality (I bought military surplus items, and they were as described.)

"...sometimes double the price of the sportsman's guide..."

Fair enough, but don't get me started on Sportsman's Guide. I don't know if it's so much a case of me refusing to buy from them, or them refusing to sell to me because I live in California. Anyway, their catalogs go straight into the trash as soon as they arrive.

Lets just say.... usually they are not.

Over priced shipping too.

Not to mention, they are buying into the run on things making the prices even higher. I bought from them once and ended up sending most of it back. Ill never buy from them again if I can help it.

Cheaper Than Dirt used to be. It was bought out it looks like, but either way, it is not cheaper than dirt anymore. Heck, it's not cheaper than anybody on many things.

The next thing you know they'll be running Mitchell's Mauser ads. Oh, wait they do.
Nevermind.

Not to mention bogus arthritis cures, bogus vison pills, generic viagra, Franklin Mint Limited Edition Crap, and all manner of other quackery. Did you mention the Mitchell's Mausers?

I won't read that rag anymore for that very reason. When they get the trash out of it, I may reconsider.

Cheaperthandirt is better known as the rip off artists. They were charging $40 PER pmag a month ago, and saying; "Retail: $60, you save: $20!!!". Oh, and they wanted $60 for a 10rd .22lr AR conversion mag!!! I will look at their cataloug, but i refuse to buy anything from them.
