Finally got my Century C93 in Saturday (HK 93 Clone), and was able to take it out for it's first trip to the range today.
All that I can say is this is one sweet little rifle, the fit and finish is the best I have ever seen from Century, not to say the others are bad but I did a side-by-side comparison with a friends HK93 and it is built as well as his $3500.00 German version.
The parts kit used to build my rifle was almost new, all of the interanals are in excellent condition with little or no wear at all. The head space was very good, and it shoots great.
I didn't have any paper to shoot today so no pics to show off but shot the steel and boy am I impressed, It was like I couldn't miss, the feel is much more natural than my M-forgery (which I also brought) and the recoil is non exsistant.
I only had enough time to put 160 rounds through it (40 Wolf FMJ, 40S&B FMJ, 80 Serbian XM193) with no failures of any kind, I guess if I had any complaint at all it would be the creep in the trigger, but that is just the HK trigger they are all like that, unless you go with a PSG 1 pack.
For all of you that have always wanted an HK93 but either couldn't or wouldn't pay that much for a rifle, my first impresions are very good and it is well worth the $815.00 shipped.
I am sure that all of the "hattas" will jump all over this post but they can spend $3500.00 on the rifle and I will spend the other $2600.00 on optics and ammo, But I guess I am biased though, this is Century number seven for me, (CETME, C91, C93, TANTAL, WASR, R1A1, AES10B RPK)and all of them function perfectly.
This is this! It's not something else, it's this!
Don't pull it if you don't plan to use it, and don't use it if you don't plan to kill!
ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR MEN AND WOMEN OVER THERE.
