Cabelas has FART Tumbler on sale

For those of us that ordered the tumbler which one are we going to get? Anyone know for sure?
I went to cabelas order site and looked ar my order. At the top it said frankford arsenal platinum 7L ( 7 liter, the larger on). At bottom it had stock number of large one. Under that it said Frankford Tumbler Lite. The larger one now says in stock on line. I will be trying to call them tomorrow. I do not want the lite version. No timer, smaller drum and no drum liner. :fire:
 
Congratulations to those who scored a FART for $99. I just got back from my local Cabela's, no deal. I'm just getting into reloading, and this is one of the items I still need. Unfortunately for me, I didn't see this post until today. I hope those of you who ordered online still get the deal. Kudos to those store managers who honored the misprint.
 
I ordered my F.A.R.T last night. The check out process on the web sight would not let me use my cabelas points and I got a message in the checkout process that said I would be notified of the order total by email. I called customer service to order mine. I gave the lady the item number and she mentioned the "lite" model. She said that the "lite" model was a catalogue only model. She asked me which one I wanted. I was not familiar with what the "lite" model was, so I told her that I wanted the platinum model like on the web site. I overheard her say something about a pricing error, but I didn't hear exactly what she said. The order confirmation said that it was the platinum model. Here is a cut and paste of my order on my cabelas account.

No mention of it being the "lite" model in the email confirmation, but it's the same item number.

Just got off the phone with cabelas. They were pleasant about it and admitted the mistake. The lady fixed the order so that I would receive the larger model for the $99.97. If you call, they will fix the order, otherwise you will receive the lite and have to send it back to exchange for the larger one. Those of you that ordered need to call cabelas and they will fix this for you.
 
Just talked to customer service and it is the smaller one. They did not offer me the larger one as for the price that it was listed for. So they may or may not fix it for you.

We just got off the phone also. We were told that the lite was to be shipped out tomorrow. Caught it just in time, they canceled the original order and replaced it with full size one for the same price.

I have to say I’m shocked they allowed it. Years ago Cabela’s would kiss your butt but lately I’ve had issues with customer service not wanting to help. Last straw was a fishing rod that took 2 weeks to ship and because it was “picked” they wouldn’t cancel. For those who had issues using points my buddy who went to pick it up for me tried using his card and it wouldn’t work!

Man for some reason I feel like a crook for taking advantage of the mistake!
 
I spoke with 2 different people, got 2 different answers, neither could ensure that I'd get the one I really wanted so I cancelled the order... I guess we need to take screenshots when we place an order?!?!

Looking at your receipt that they emailed you, did it say you ordered the platinum version? Mine did, and did not say anything about the Lite version. The Lite version was not even on their website to be bought.
 
I called, the woman I spoke to told me it was the lite. I replied that's not what the receipt says. She hesitated for a few seconds and said the platinum was going to be shipped.

I think confusion is coming from both having the same item number but Cabela's customer service just verified they are two different models/items. Looks like they got the regular vs lite model issue sorted out, at least the lady I talked to.

Both are "Platinum" series. ;)

If you want to be sure which model you ordered, just check/ask the model's capacity. If it's 3.3 liters with 300 .223 case capacity, you are getting the "Lite" model.

Mine is suppose to arrive tomorrow by 6:00p.m. Shipped out early this morning. My cabelas account states lite version cancelled. Full size version sent at $80.02 discount for total of $99.97.

Seriously though, for $100 the ones that got the “high capacity” model great job!!! I love mine!
 
Got my FART from cabelas. It is the larger one. Now if I only had some dirty brass to clean.
Glad you got yours. When did you order it? Mine still says "processing" on the order. I ordered mine on Monday. Just talked to customer service and was told the SKU number I ordered is for the large one so hopefully it will ship soon. At first they seemed convinced that they would ship the small unit to me until I said my receipt said 7L on it.

Ordered Monday morning around 7:00 A.m.. Called Tuesday night around 7:30 P.M. and got order straightened out so I would receive larger unit. Item left Utah Wednesday morning on fedex.

It appears Cabela's jerked me around on that order - after reading above, I contacted Customer Service and showed them that Cabela's Item : IK - 218807 is listed on BOTH tumblers and that only the original large one was shown when I placed the order and that the $99 price was indicated for THAT large tumbler.
Mine also says 7L (which I think just means the 110v version) on the confirmation and it says Lite. The UPC # that shipped doesn't match the large one I see on 2 other websites.
They assured me that I can return it though when it arrives in another 4 days, which is great, but I feel that THEY messed up and now I have to jump through hoops. Quite disappointed.

Did they say they would send you the larger unit when you send back the Lite unit?

The Tumbler arrived this morning and it Is the LITE version. It comes with a return shipping label via Fedex but they will charge $7.50 for that.
My time and the drive to their store will cost every bit of that also.
I'll be contacting Cabela's management letting them know how misleading their ad is for using the same Item # on both tumblers and asking them to make the shipping free.
It's probably still a 15% off sale if a person wanted the LITE model, but I didn't.
