Hmmmmmm .... I didn't know Pietta still made Pattersons.
Or was it Uberti that ceased making them?
Wish I could afford one right now.....................

I was aware from reading a post about it and seeing it while regularly browsing through Cabela's BP guns.
New Pietta Patersons were in short supply until now. Maybe it's part of the Civil War commemoration that's been going on and how the manufacturers and retailers are always trying to get folks to buy and collect more and more models.

Cool, but for the cost, I can darn near get 3 - 1858 Remmies.

I may not be looking for a Paterson, but I'm also not into collecting paperweights at this point in my life, and I don't know what I would do with 3 of them. :D

(Just kidding)

I think it's great that Pietta is jumping on the bandwagon and producing "out of print" classics like the Paterson. Their CNC produced guns are way better than the old stuff, and the sales Cabela's keeps having makes buying a new Pietta cheaper than buying a well-used gun off of Gun Broker.
Kudos to Pietta!

i would buy a Paterson, no matter what it costs, but due to Australian import laws, because it doesnt have a trigger guard, its not allowed into the country :(
