Camp Perry Pics At CMP Website

There are a lot of neat pics from competition at the National Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio on the CMP website, www.odcmp.com.

One that caught my eye was a 13 year-old girl shooting a revolver upside down using a mirror to aim. She was a champ a long time ago. I'd not heard of her before. My son, who hopes to shoot at Perry next summer, found pics of Carlos Hathcock after he won the Wimbleton Cup (1,000 yard match) years ago.

Thought some of the folks here might be interested.

Its interesting to see that the bulk of junior shooters seem to be female. I like seeing kids with guns (that statement would make most liberals faint ), it gives me a positive view of the future. My oldest just turned five. How long do you think till I should take her out and teach her on the 10/22?

Tried looking on CMPs website and didnt find it, how much does it cost to enter into each match, thinking of going this summer.

Info on the 2007 National Matches may not be available yet.
I'd keep checking, or take a look in the NRA's American Rifleman magazine.
