I know some of you were there.
I know some of you to pictures.
What I'm looking for is pictures of premade or homemade shooting carts or stools for high power rifle shooting.
I plan on making one and would like to see some ideas possibly some plans to build my own.

Thanks,
Kevin

There is a good cross reference of the commercial carts on www.ray-vin.com . One of the better non-specific carts I saw was a large game cart with a large plastic "rubbermaid" tub lashed to it. Not as organized as a true shooters cart, but highly effective at Perry.

Here is the cart I'm talking about:

Top that with a large Rubbermaid style tub large enough to house your rifle, chair, and everything else, and you're set. (approximately 45"Lx28"Wx24"H?

I own a $300+ First Strike shooting cart and I admit that I was impressed with the efficiency of the game cart/big tub concept.

Alternatively, I say a lot of trash barrel on dolly contraptions, and that seems like a very POOR method, as the trash barrel is half my height at least, and if I were to drop something inside I'd be really upset.

Kevin:

They are not difficult to make. I don't have deep pockets, but I do have short hands, so I made my own. If you go with thin aluminum, it is possible to overload them. My current version is still a work in progress (like my scope stand) but it is functional and requires common tool to build (no lathes or milling machines). Aluminum is best purchased from scrap dealers, but my high $$ version is still about $80 including bag.

Lemme know if you need more info.

Sam
