If you live in a state that allows for ownership of SBR's then yes you can. You would first submit a form 1 to the ATF and pay your $200 NFA Tax. When it comes back you can put a short barrel on your AR. (About 6 months wait at this point.)
You need to mark your lower with your name, City, and ST in order to comply with NFA rules.
