I got a Tangfolio Witness compact .40 for $350 (+lic). For an all steel gun that fit my hand perfectly, and has a 4.5 pound SA and 9 pound DA crisp trigger I think this is a real deal! While I only shot from Barricade at 15yards I got 3" groups with Ranger 180 grain ammo. I have knocked the rear sight over a tiny bit to center the group which is 1" high at that range with this ammo, I can live with that!
I bought 2 extra Factory mags at $20 each. I am having CenDex make me a clear plastic Kydex holster and mag pouch. I have a feeling that this gun is robust from the looks of the extractor. I am completely striping it down and deburring and polishishing any rough spots and lubeing with a synthetic pistol grease (Jardines) , so the heck with EAA noncustomer service! I am not a big .40 fan, I don't like my Glock 27, if this thing works as good as it looks I'll give the Glock to my CHP son for a Christmas present (as a bug to match his duty 4006).This a little different from all my .45 1911 variations! Nobody seems to have CZ Rami's around here and this is at least $100 cheaper AND all steel!

You did good......most witness guns are top notch. And when they are good they are perfect for a long time. Leather is easy.......any CZ leather will work for the 40 frame.....smaller of the two sizes they use.
Nice...you can get 12 rnd mags for the fullsize from MecGar just in case you didnt get them and want more bullets..........
Shoot well.................

Based on CZ 75 frame

and have proven reliable for a long time. Good guns. I had one in 9mm. shot accurately, but traded it for another 1911 when I no longer needed a 9mm.

My 10mm witness has been amazing, not one malfunction and very accurate.

I've got a polymer Witness compact, with a .45 compensated barrel, and a .40sw barrel. I can't find mags anywhere for the .40, other than that it's fine.
EAA doesn't even have them right now.

Keep in mind the Poly and steel framed Compacts take different mags....
They are thicker in the poly and wont work in the steel guns. The steel gun mags will work in the poly..........Confusing isnt it??????????????????????
Shoot well.
