Can someone explain this to me?

I didn't really think I was a novice at political methodology and issues, but apparently I am. According to this article, http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,112614,00.htm ,
they can add the AWB to another bill without it passing the house? I have been writing my senators like a good little soldier to try to prevent this from happening, but I don't understand why Boxer's worthless carcass can be so confident. I've been following the CSPAN stuff a little, but I don't see how this could happen. Is doesn't even seem to be fair to add ammendments to a bill like that, changing the whole meaning of it. That's why they put bills in committee. Stupid, broken political system...

Any bill must pass both the House and Senate.

If a rider gets added on to a bill with the required %50.01+(or whatever it may be) to the House or Senate by majority vote. It would still have to go through both the H & S again after conference committee, assuming it could survive the committee.

I stated here and elsewhere several times that the intolerants, aka "Libearals" will find a way to renew and even extend the AWB. And here you have it. And our wonderful Pres will sign it, if it reaches his table.

Filibusters, Riders... see how wonderful "we, the people..." works?

It should have been written as "We, the politicians decide..."
