I just want something I can sent out to all of my Representatives that simply states:

I am a father, a gun owner, and more importantly a registered voter. I was horrified just as everyone else was, the loss of life, especially of innocent children is revolting any human being.

That said I do not support any further gun control measures, no bans on magazines, types of weapons, no registrations, or "forced buybacks."

*Only goes in for certain officials*I am also a registered Democrat. However simply put if you vote to support gun control, I will dedicate my time and resources to candidates who support the Second Amendment at primary season, or I will vote for the Republican candidate in the general election. I give early and often.

*Only goes in for certain officials*I am also a registered Democrat. However simply put if you vote to oppose gun control and your opponent would not (which lets be honest is likely), I will dedicate my time and resources to candidates who support the Second Amendment in the general election. I give early and often. That said lay off the video games*

That is all I have to say, besides increase funding and support NASA **, sweet and simple.

If you intended to write back on the virtue of gun control, the intern reading this please feel free to just respond with a short and simple "best find another candidate down the road", no need to have to waste your time or or trees to print out a long form letter that will just annoy me anyway.***

Sincerely
Me

*Okay I wont add that last line likely...but I might. :)
**That either, but dammit the Space Program is important and should be sodomized the way it has been. Kidding aside the only letters I sent are general related to firearms and NASA...I am offically the oddest Jewish Democrat voter on the planet.
***Okay I won't include that either, but I do feel it has a powerful message to it.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have added strikethroughs for stuff I would suggest deleting, and underlines for any additions I would make:

I am a father, a gun owner, and, more importantly, a registered voter. I was just as horrified [strike]just[/strike] as everyone else was[strike],[/strike] at the loss of life during the recent shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, especially that of innocent children. Such an event is revolting to any human being.

That said, I do not support any further gun control measures, [strike]no[/strike] bans on magazines, outlawing particular types of weapons, [strike]no[/strike] gun registrations, or "forced buybacks."

*Only goes in for certain officials*I am also a registered Democrat. [strike]However simply[/strike] Simply put, if you vote to support gun control, I will dedicate my time and resources to candidates who support the Second Amendment at primary season, or I will vote for the Republican candidate in the general election.
