I would figgure the EPA would have more influance than the CPA. I guess my little Glock Protection Agency will eat all the lead it can for now.

Let's not forget about C.A.R.B.(california air resources board), they are more powerful than the epa, and have been around longer. The epa tends to follow closely behind them.

We are supposed to end up like an ant society. All ants not marching lockstep along the correct path are to be eliminated:

CA lead ammo ban

California has already started down this same path.

I live in the lower CA central valley where an initial lead ammo ban has been greatly expanded. This ban has nearly made varmint hunting impossible for everybody who bought .17 rimfire rifles. I have two 17m2 and one 17hmr rifles. CCI came out with non lead .22 mag ammo, Winchester says they will be out with .22lr ammo, but nobody is near or promising non lead 17HMR or 17HM2 ammo. I also am having trouble finding non lead bullets for reloading my .223.

What components contain the lead?
"Motorcycle and ATV components containing lead include lead battery terminals, tire valve stems, fittings and connectors made with brass or copper alloys, brake and clutch levers, throttle controls, engine housings, carburetors made with aluminum alloys, steel fasteners, and frames or structural components made with steel alloys."
This describes every motor vehicle in existence . . . ah, well, someone has to do something to prevent those underage kids from smashing themselves into rocks and trees . . .

I wan't to know how many children have gotten lead poisoning by riding a motorcycle? This lead hysteria has gone past ridiculous!:banghead:

Washington state is working on it.
Even tho they assured me they are not going after ammo just other lead.
