I seen a lot of post here recently that get somewhat divisive at times and I'm will to accept some blame.
The last thread I posted started with a rant that I called some of us "nuts". I accept and apologize for that. I had a serious question that came across the wrong way, I believe. I'm not going to post a link because the thread ended up getting closed rather quickly and I'm ok with that.
So on to my question for this thread.
I have been guilty in the past of using words in my post, like the one from above, that were not very highroad. I'm going to watch more closely what I post and I ask ALL other highroaders to do the same. Comments like my "nuts" references and others like " I need to add him to my tinfoil list", only hurt us as a whole and do not provide anything productive. These comments do not sway anyone to your way of thinking.
In another post it turned into a discussion about the racial makeup of a crowd which was totally disrespectful of the OP.
IMHO we all need to do a better job of how we address each other, especially those that have different opinions than ours. We all come from different places and we are who we are because of that.
I'm calling ALL of us to not to post anything that would not be considered constructive. I will do a better job of asking and responding to posts. Will you?
Last thing, I understand people post things that are sarcastic. We neex to remember that sometimes sarcasm is understood in speech but not in written words.
