In my quest for a .22 LR cylinder for my Ruger single six that came with only a .22mag cylinder I bid on and won the following cylinder. I want to properly ID it so I can list it for sale.
It looked right on the auction and is in as good shape as advertised so I have nothing against the seller, but it isn't right for the Single six. The cylinder is a fraction of an inch too long and the base pin hole is a fraction of an inch too small. Here are pics:
Edited to add: I think I will just break down and send the gun in to Ruger to have them fit the cylinder and do the conversion. I can't see any markings on the cylinder as to mfr.
