A while back, and I think it was on TheHighRoad, there was discussion about two different types of field prepping an animal.

A fellow from Alaska had a really neat method in which you basically left the entrails in the field and carried out the meat only. Can't remember the name.

Other fellows provided links to really great pictures and instructions doing it the traditional way.

Help!!! I need to read that thread again and ready myself and partner to go hunting October 18-22.

Outstanding, thanks Keith. You ARE the man. Researching Oregon wildlife law at this point to see if I can use that method here in Oregon.
