Walkalong - I have 32 lbs. of SRB118. Do you have any load data you would care to share for 55 gr. or 62 gr. FMJBT's in LC cases?

First post here. Found it by Google. Looks like a great site!

Almost forgot....don't forget H4895.

I am now loading this for my 223 - because I have 16 pounds of it.

Shot this morning in a 20mph wind (at 10 to 11 o'clock direction), grouped in the 0.4's at 100 yards.

I got 12 lbs of tac on sale at midway - I shot a 1.25 grp at 200 with a m4, speer 55grs and remington brass with a grain up from the bottom

I LIKEY tac - and it fits everything I load

Trimming .223 Brass for an AR-15

I have only used H335 with great results so far with 55 grain bullets. I have several pounds of AA2230 and 748 but haven't been motivated to try them yet.

If you are using magnum primers, be sure to work up. Pressures can vary with the hotter primers.

I have had good results with standard Winchester and CCI primers. I've used the magnums but didn't see better results in my situation. I suspect the Winchester primers, in particular, are designed for ball powders.

It's interesting that there is more interest in using AA2230 now. Six months ago I asked for advice for using the powder and few were using it on the major forums.

Accurate 2230 is on sale at Midway USA for $9.99/lb. If I hadn't bought a bunch of TAC last month, I'd be jumping on this sale.
