Carry in Vehicle in state of Florida

How does one go about obtaining a CCW here in Florida ? If it's just a matter of taking a class. I took a class 20 yrs ago but never applied for the permit, any idea if the paperwork from that class would still be useable ? Also what is the cost of the CCW ? When I'm headed to the range I keep my guns in the trunk, unloaded along w/ their ammo, is that legal ?

1 Take a safety class, or be ex military ( I think the old class is OK, my g/f used a 7 year old DD214- call and ask)
2 Get 2 passport photos taken
3 Fill out application
4 get electronically fingerprinted at Sheriff's office
5 send in above with money
6 get permit in 2-4 weeks

Call Gutmacher and have him represent you in court. If theres a way out of it, he would be the guy to help you out. One thing is clear, you admitted to a felony here on an open internet forum. this can likely be used against you in court. Are you going to plead guilty??
