I have been loading Rainer 124gr HP with vv-320 4.1gr, cartiage OAL of 1.125, and Chroneyed at 1044 fps.
I bought some Berry 124gr HP loaded with vv-n320 4.1gr and cartiage OAL ( had to seat bullet to 1.055 to get it to chamber), and Chroned at 1088 fps.
Question? is it common for one brand of bullet cause the seating to be different?
The case wall of the Rainer is .250, and thee case wall of the Berry is .358. I take it that because the berry bullet is longeron the case wall that is the reason to have to seat deaper.
Will seating the second bullet mentioned cause any problems?
Both the Rainer and the Berry shoot very well and are with in the Chrony specks.
It just bothers me that I have to Seat OAL way below suggested OAL of 1.125. There were no signs of presure on the case or primers. Please any thought on this, Thanks Fred ps: don;t take off for mis-spelling

Yes!

No. As long as you are not already loading a max load at a longer seating depth, it will not cause any problems.

You have pretty much already proven that with your crony results.
