Is there a case trimmer that can do it's job without further purchases?

I read on another thread that the Lyman (don't know which mode) requires no collars. If this is true, it would be great. Are there any tradeoffs to such a trimmer?

TIA for any and all info.

Collets?

I kind of like the Hornady CamLock.
Very fast getting cases in & out.

It doesn't use collets.
It uses the same standard shell holders you already have for your press.

It comes with .22, 6mm, 270, 7mm, .30, .38, and .45 pilots, and others are available.

Thank-you

That's exactly what I was looking for.

I really appreciate all the help I've gotten on this board.

rcmodel,
You have been very helpful on numerous occasions. My new hobby is about as much your baby as it is my own. Thanks!

bensdad,
I am kind of sold on these myself. I chuck them up in my drill press and can trim about a 1000 in an hour and a half. I got them for .223, 22-250, and 30-06. Since I either resize with RCBS X-Dies for the AR and neck resize on the other two trimming really isn't something I have to do very often.

The Tri-Cut is very nice in that you don't have a seperate step to debur and champher. But, if you try a Gracey Trimmer, you'll never look back!
