I just got a new mold, Lyman 311008 115 gr. Not much data available, thought I would look here and see what I could find.

It's been my experience that 327FM are more accurate with a .314 mold than a .312. That mold number is for a 32-20.

It may work ok but if you are planning on using Wheel Weight lead you may be stripping the bullets in the riflings because of the smaller dia.

.327Fm is .312 with jacketed bullets, typically you want to go .001-.002 over bore size when using lead bullets.

If you have already bought this mold try using hard cast lead with it if you run into severe leading and poor accuracy.

I cast 90gr .314dia for my Sp101 3 1/6"barrel and it shoots very accurately at 25yds.
I would strongly advise that you send the mold back before using it and find a .314 mold that will meet your needs.

I think your going to have accuracy and leading problems using a .312 lead bullet in a .312 bore even with hard cast lead.

I'm still in the early stages of loading for my Single-7.
I've found that my .311" bullets I've previously used in .30cal rifles and pistols shoot just fine.
In fact, the .311" seem to shoot a tad bit better than the Lee .314" TLSWC mold that I've used to cast some with. These were lubed with Lee-TL and sized in sizer to .314".

Some .311" Lyman 115gr FNGC (cast to ~122gr) with Hornady Gaschecks over 3.8gr of Longshot in .32H&R cases shot really well.

In the most recent issue of "Reloader Magazine", Brian Pierce has some loads listed for 115gr FNGC's as well as 130gr SWC's.

Best powders according to him are Acc.#9, PowerPistol, and Longshot for the heavier bullets.

I've found the with 78gr and 93gr Lead RN bullets at .311"; Bullseye is giving me best results. (no surprise there!).

I have four loads that work well in my 327 FM. I don't cast but use MBC'S offerings. The cowboy #6 100 grain does well with HP-38 at a near minimum charge and one that is borderline max.

The MBC 120 grain 32-20 bullet is my favorite. I load it light with a mid level charge of HP38. For a little (a lot) more oomph I use a heavy charge of Enforcer. It's been too long since I've loaded these to quote grains so I won't but the workup was a breeze. Very easy to find a suitably accurate load. I also extrapolated the data from Ramshots 115 grain data so its not something I would share not knowing the experience level of people reading this.

What powders do you have on hand?

The gun measures .312 and I size to .313 every thing I cast and have no problems with leading even with hot loads, (near max.) This bullet works well in the revolver, I shot many hundreds in my 32-20 S&W. This bullet has no crimp groove so I crimp it just forward of the grease groove and it works fine.
