i am in the process of obtaining my ccw and would like suggestions on iwb holsters for a 1911 or 75b. have not made up my mind on which to carry. any suggestions welcome.

Galco Summer Comfort Model # J619 T / SUM246 . It's actually for a Sig P-226 but it fits my 75B like a glove

Milt Sparks VMII or Summer Special II.

Another good option is a Mitch Rosen ARG or anything by Matt Del Fatti. I have something from each of these makers for various guns, and they are all great.

Milt Sparks VMII, best damn holsters I've every bought. I have spent tons of money with them and will continue, very worth the wait.

Alessi Super Talon clip. Have three (carry, BUG and BUG). World class craftsmanship and service. You'll have to wait, as Lou Alessi has military contracts to fill, but it's well worth it.

Milt Sparks Versa Max II - once you get one you'll stop looking.
I use the VMII with a Glock 30 and SIG 229.

I also use a Milt Sparks Summer Special II for carrying my S&W J-Frame - I have heard that this holster also works well with an 1911.

I have also tried the Milt Sparks Executive Companion IWB, and while I enthusiastically recommend them, I have found that the VMII will more firmly hold the position and angle of the holster on your belt due to the wide spacing of the belt hoops. If you do a lot of sitting with a full-size firearm, then the Executive Companion might be a little bit more comfortable because the closeness of the belt hoops gives you more leeway in positioning the angle of the holster when you sit in your chair.

Don't forget to get a good "carry belt", Milt Sparks sells a double thickness, "contour cut" belt that is excellent!

For those with the Crossbreed Supertuck:

I have one on the way. Hope to have it in a week or so.

Do any of you actually tuck while using it? I know many people love the holster and say it is really comfortable. I need to tuck most times at work and was curious if that funtion really work well.
