CCW with just a t-shirt?

I carry a G22 under an untucked polo style shirt just about every day. It conceals just fine under a t-shirt as well. If I can get away with that then you should be just fine with your PM9. ;)

By the way...I do this with a leather FIST OWB #12 at 3 o'clock with two spare mags in a Comp-Tac double mag carrier at 9' o'clock. Fortunately my shoulders are broad enough to allow me to get away with it.

I carry my little berreta 950 jetfire in my pocket when I have shorts or anything too tight on however, I carry while wearing teashirt and jeans 89% of the time.... my holster is a highnoon, highly recomend it... Inside the pants holster works best for me I am 5 10 and only weight 150 pounds...

this is my holster ( i carry a glock 23 or my taurus 24/7 pro: packing this one right now)

check this one out.

If your just wearing a t-shirt then where are you going to put the gun??
Dang it, man, you beat me to the punchline. ;)

But I'll throw mine in anyway: "If you're CCW with just a t-shirt, you've got bigger issues than printing."

<rim shot> 'cha ka boom'

But seriously, for me, it's just not an issue. There's not a time in the last 10 years that I've worn 'just a t-shirt' except when i'm dancing aerobically, and in that situation, I'm not carrying a weapon.

All other times, I'm wearing at least a long sleeve shirt, if not a vest.

(Yeah, it's because I'm a thin person, and we tend to run a bit cool on the temperature scale, 'specially living in the ... region of the continent where I live.)

YMMV.

im relatively short and skinny (5'9" and about 150 or so) and if one uses that person can hide most everything (for lil pop guns to mid-sized autos to 4" L frames). In the Southern GA/ Northern FL heat i can hide my full sized Baby Eagle in an IWB (GALCO?) in JUST A T-SHIRT during several parts of the year...but in the summer I'll use a Beretta 87 or a stainless (better to maintain in the humidty im told) Taurus 605 in an IWB.
Mix and match and experiment (and prepare to spend plenty of $$$ for the right match!)

Regards and semper fi!

The only problem with carrying OWB or IWB on your hip (7 or 4 O'Clock) is if you lean over or squat, the butt of the handgun can print. If the gun is on your side, the printing is reduced to nil. I carry a Glock 19 under a blousey tee shirt occasionally.

I find that I get the bulge on the side. At 4:00, you get the butt of the gun haning out when you sit, squat or bend. The bulge on the side is probably better. The only thing that completely goes away for me is a compact carried at about 12:30 to 1:00 very low down in a home modified uncle mikes inside the pants cheap-o.

What I really need is to lose the love handles and give the 1911 some more room :p

I was carrying my full size 1911 for the first time today at IKEA in Renton. The thing is huge and has a mag-well and everything. I would have been more comfortable walking around naked, it was like being a CCW rookie all over again. I had just gotten really comfy with the Kimber Ultra Carry, but then sold it for the cannon. Argh! There's no good solution except to own a big pile of guns for all occasions :)

I've found that a good pancake holster
will hide better than paddle holsters.
I also learned to reach for stuff with
my left hand to my piece covered up.

I'm 6' 180lbs and I've always carried under just a tshirt with no problems. When winter rolls around (both weeks of it) I don't really change my carry mode as my draw will clear a jacket at the same time it clears my shirt. One thing I started doing since I started carrying is always wearing an undershirt to keep the holster/pistol from direct contact with my skin. This is for both comfort and preservation of the bluing on the pistol - sweat is bad.
