Ok, I'm pretty sure I missed their last catalog, but how long have they been hiding their pistol prices? Almost thirty pages of handguns and not a single price in sight!

I used to look forward to drooling over the new CDNN and hunting out the good deals, but not if it means spending half on hour on the phone getting quotes.

Thanks for the heads up. I enjoy their catalogs and have always felt dealing with them was a bargain.

:D

yea im waiting for the next catalog. thought about downloading but....... said it would take something like 14 HOURS:banghead::cuss:. gues il just hafta wait

Masking prices is nothing new. Its so us regular joes don't know how much our dealers just paid for the on their shelf. However almost always somebody gets their print catalog with prices and scans the images to THR.

Been hiding the prices since shortly after the VT shooting. I'm not sure why though. They didn't change anything else... The catalogue is the same as before, just without the prices.

The prices are in the hardcopy of their catalog. They ship a copy of it with orders, including accessory orders, regardless of who you are (there is only a few POR items in the hardcopy catalog- mostly a few particular Browning shotguns and stuff). I have a feeling that they are trying to protect their dealer customers bottom line. You really can't blame them- they are a wholesaler, and dealer sales are their meat and potatoes.

I'm sure one of our fine members will post scans once the hard copies get out. Unfortunately I neither receive the hard copy nor have a scanner.

Well,there was a gun shop that did it,but they got a nasty,(actually,very politely worded),letter from CDNN: http://blueridgearmory.com/
Not a gun shop. Just a private web site...for now...

I was hoping he could get away with it since it wasn't a dealer or other commercial site. Looks like someone mentioned it to CDNN.

Can't really blame CDNN for wanting to abide by the agreement they made to not publish their prices on the net. I don't agree with the decision about prices, but I can't fault their ethics.

I won't buy from a company that refuses to tell me the prices. Plenty of other places to get a gun without having to call for prices.

Fletcher was kind enough to put the catalog on his webpage for the longest time, but just the other day (maybe it was even yesterday) they asked him to take it down citing some agreement or other with manufacturers. Still they DID have it where they wouldn't have pistols at all so I suppose this is some kind of improvement. I still would find it much more useful if it actually had prices :p Maybe in a few more catalogs they'll come back to the way they initially did it.

Anyone know their prices on the Sig 225 or the Cd HI-POWER?

I dont know and can't say if prices have changed, but in the 2007-7 (final one in 2007 I think) paper catalog..
CD Hi-power - $299.99
Sig 225 - $319.99 Good To Excellent , or $369.99 Like new.

I ordered the Sig 225 as new for 339.00 and 2 mags for 30 each (new sig). I also ordered a CD HiPower for 289.00 - they warned the HP might have small handling blemishes - I look forward to their arrival Monday. I would not have bought the CD except for the recent postings by the KBI/CD president.

solvability,

Do you mean $339? I just called CDDN and they said that the Like New were $339 and the Excellent were $299.

Will someone answer why CDNN consigns the gun to the FFL thus requiring the customer to pay state sales tax?

Lost interest in CDNN after I couldn't see the prices. With all my needed niches full in my collection, the price is what gets me interested. Without that, nothing stands out, and that means they don't get any calls from me.

I have not heard that before. I bought a PTR91 from them last year and that was not the case.
