This is a great cause. I'll be there, presenting a block on lessons from some of our student involved shootings.

Anyone here who can make it to this conference is missing a bet if they don't try to attend. These conferences present some of the best bang for the buck available to the community of shooters interested in self defense. They give exposure to a variety of trainers and materials at a very reasonable cost and with amazingly little trouble/hassle on the part of those who attend.

Long ago I heard Louis Awerbuck say, "The state of the art is a moving target." The body of knowledge available to us keeps growing and changing, new technologies become available, new strategies are discovered. One of the best ways I know of to keep up with these changes and advances is to attend events of this nature. And you get to meet a lot of people who previously were just names on a printed page or a computer screen as well, and guess what? Most of them are genuinely neat people.

Speaking of which, just being able to hear the presentation that Tom is going to give on 'lessons learned' is worth the trip. We sat in on that lecture this past weekend in Memphis, and it's a really good opportunity to learn what some of Rangemaster's students experienced on the street or in their homes when their number came up on the criminal roulette wheel.

Recommended. Last year's conference was excellent, lots of good info. (Challenging pistol match, too!) Would be there this year but for scheduling conflict.

Glad that you have plenty of work these days, but we were still sorry to miss seeing you again in Memphis. It doesn't look as if we'll be able to make the CFTC, sorry those who can be there won't get to see you either .

Do you guys travel? Or is all of your training done out of Florida? And do you ever make it to South Florida? I have family in Miami and would love an excuse to visit them.

A number of top tier trainers do travel, but this conference is in a fixed location...
