Cerberus to sell Freedom Arms Group

I am not sure if there is any relevance to this, or it is purely coincidental. Cerberus an investment group is going to sell The Freedom Group.

If guns are in such a demand, why would they sell this company? Do they know something we don't? Is there some insider information available to them, that we don't know about? Senators and Congress men have been known, to be dirty, do backdoor deals, and insider trading.

If you dont know who the Freedom Group is, they are composed of the following companies.

well, it's probably a good business move on their part. after everyone who wants one owns 5 of anything, there's probably going to be a big slump in sales coming up. that hurts their bottom line next quarter, or the quarter after that.

I heard an interesting story on NPR's Marketplace the other day talking about the problem the gun industry faces selling durable goods that are so durable that they can be used for generations if well maintained. It's been a problem for the gun industry for quite a few years, and will only get worse with time. There's not a really good way to put planned obsolesce into your firearms.
