was browsing a few sites awhile ago and saw that Classic was carrying CETMEs marked at $580. They look pretty nifty, but considering problems I've heard with certain makes of G3/FALs available to us, I'd thought I'd ask.

at one time Century had a crew of drunken monkeys working for then things like ground bolts to bent recivers. the new crop is much better some are real good.

the century mark does give me some worries. Never had a Century product, but still...most people seem happy enough with them.

Anything particularly about them I should look for, so that I know I should return it?

RP88, the G3/Cetme is a rifle totally unlike any other. They depend on tolerances and measurements unseen in other arms.

If you don't know what you're looking at, I'd advise you to find a friend who does know, if you insist on buying one.

I would like one, but I'm in the AR market right now. I was just curious, really, since I would want one eventually down the road if possible. I'm still trying to learn things in the firearms market. Hope it doesnt show too bad

Mine has been fine.

You will find a few detractors, but the majority of the bad talk about the newer CETME's is just anti-century hate and internet commandos.

They are accurate, reliable, and throw the brass almost as far as the bullet!
