The CG63 rifles and their M6-M7 military variants, were m/96 (and in some cases m/94 and m/38) actions with a heavy barrel and a target stock.
The rifling in the new barrels was changed to one twist in 220mm as opposed to the m/96 rifle twist of one turn in 200mm. Many were glass bedded.
The CG63s still have a long throat like the service rifles. Since real men load long.
The CG-63s were made to shoot a 140 grain (not 139gr service ammo) boat-tail target load at around 2,600 fps.
If you go to the Swede Military rifle collectors site of the
Gun Boards forums, you occasionally see CG80s and CG-63s for sale.
Allans Armory is also a very good place to shop for CG-63s.

My CG-63 was purchased from another member over at Gun Boards and it out-shoots most scoped rifles.
When you start shopping for a CG63 or CG-80 you really need to figure out what type of sights trip your trigger. There are more than a few and everyone has there personal preferences.
PS: I recently discovered that my CG-63 does not like the 142 grain Sierra Match Kings while it loves the 140s and 120s. It is something about the balance point in the 142s.
My particular rifle REALLY likes the 120 grain Sierra Match Kings at around 2,750 fps. Using Lapua Brass of Course... A CG63 will give more velocity in a load than a M/96 due to the change in rifling.
Mine has a GF rear sight and a Elite front sight.
Here is what mine can do at 100 yards with my old eye balls...
