A few years ago I was issued a UPIN, after being denied a fire arm purchase. I have since retired and moved to another state and I am wondering if I need to notify the Feds of my new address? Do any of you have experience with having a UPIN and changing addresses and if so what process did you have to go through if any.

Several years ago some country no nothing worker decided they would change the street numbers in my subdivision. I got a notice in the mail that my house number had changed. WHAT!! This causes no end to problems such as: Address on checks, my FFL, my class 3 tax stamps, you get the idea. So in the process of trying to change all this stuff, I write the BATF trying to change just the BATF stuff. A couple of weeks latter another letter come that says only the state can change addresses so disregard the previous letter. Thanks alot dummies, now I had checks that no longer were any good and sent a letter telling the BATF to disregard the change in street address. Hope they did it.
