Charles Daly .45 will not load JHPs

i have a Charles Daly .45 that jams with JHP rounds. The barrel is not ramped.
So my question is: Are there any rounds available with a rounded fmj tip but expand like a jhp? your time and knowledge will be greatly appreciated.:banghead:

The Federal EFMJ, I believe, has a FMJ profile and expands. I don't believe that I've seen other reports of the CD not liking hollow points; perhaps there's a problem?

Fiocchi makes a 230gr JHP that has a very small opening. I haven't seen a 45 that wouldn't feed it. It's hot stuff too.

I carry a Daly.

Have you tried the remington golden sabers? I use the 185gr +P load. On the other hand, I've also got a Daly that's a range queen because I haven't found one that's 100% in it yet. Same model, too. Oh well, just a suggestion.
