How good are these things?? I am in need of a semi auto shotgun that could be used for duck and deer hunting. What is the workmanship on these? Are they reliable w/ light bird shot loads to 3" mag slugs? Tell me everything you know on these things.( NOT about Rem.1100's or Win. 1400's etc. )
Thanks for any info!!! :) :)

they seem to be built good,i judge them by how many we get for repair, this year 1,broken bolt lock, called CD,they sent one for free, good deal.they have parts.were a dealer for them so we get parts from them.

A lot of people have said they are the same as Beretta's 390.

I have heard that quality is just as good as the 390.

I owned a Maxi-Mag pump and it was a very good gun for the money. Always functioned, nice and light weight, breakdown was easiest of any gun I own. I got rid of it and got a Mossberg 500 just because it seems like Daly will never release their rifled barrels. The 500 isn't nearly as smooth...

CD Shotgun

I used a CD autoloader 12 gauge for a prop in a local IDPA shoot. Everyone had to clean 3 poppers with the shotty and then transition to handgun.

The CD ran all day in the rain with 3 dram shells. I felt the gun handled well and think it's a good bargain for the money.

I musta got a bad one, wouldn't eject and then jammed- traded it off at a gun show. :cuss:

What kind of ammo were you using?
You can't get a low priced auto, feed it underpowered shells, and then expect it to cycle well.
