charter arms mag pug 357, anyone with range time with one of these? Please keep the hate'n to a minimum its not a ruger colt or S&W. To qoute dragnet "justs the facts ma'am"

Given the light weight, it should be pretty energetic to shoot! It's on the same frame as the Bulldog, but the pressures in the .357 Magnum are much higher. It probably will recoil a lot less than one of the little Scandium J-Frames in .357 Magnum. That said, I wouldn't feed it .357s as a regular diet.

New or old? I haven't tried the new Charters yet, but I have serious respect for the old ones. I've had 3 different Bulldogs, a coupla Undercovers and some Pathfinders. All were, or are, shooters. The most accurate revolver I've ever shot was a 6" 22WMR Pathfinder. I still kick myself for letting it go.

I've heard very good things about them, so much so, that I think the next purchace of mine will be a Target Pathfinder Combo 22 lr/mag. They are very light for an all steel gun. The only bad comment I've heard is that the cylinder latch can be a little sharp. A little sanding can take care of that though.
