I am looking at one of these at a local shop for $150 OTD and it seems like a nice little revolver indeed. This is one of the older guns not one of the newer charter 2000 guns. Its blued with wood grips and I figure it would be a good shooter or defense gun. Now I have colt and S&W snubbies but I don't know but I have this snub nose revolver fetish always have its kinda like my 1911 addiction LOL,I never seem to have enough of them. So if anyone here had some feedback on wether these are good or bad snub nose revolver please sound off, besides I figure for $150 OTD I'd have another snubbie in the stable.

It's about the same as a old Rossi.
Tuff to lay it next to a colt and S&W.

that's a good used price for an old Charter.

i understand the snubbie addiction. you can never have too many.

It could go either way. Charter tanked and was reborn a few times; good revolvers were pretty good, and bad ones were stinkers. I'm not really up on my Charter Arms lore enough to help you out beyond suggesting you check it out carefully.

I have had one of these for a few years and it has been a good little revolver. I don't shoot it that much any more but would have no problem carrying it. People seem to have different experiences with these but mine has been positive. At the price it might be worth it.

If it hasn't been abused, it should be fine! Shelley bought one that had a rough exterior, but it is a great shooter. I say, go for it!

Die-hard snubb fan here too..

Let's see...I've owned the following snubbies: 2 Smith and Wesson, 2 Taurus, 2 EAA Windicators, 1 Rossi.....and loved'em all.

My next snubbie will be one of Charter's Undercover or Off-duty models.

Why? Why does a man climb a mountain? Because it is there. 'Nuff said.

I own a few Charter's products both new and old. All of them are extremely accurate and I have had no problems with any of them. The Charter Undercover in 38 spec. is a perfect sized weight and size for concealed carry. I own two of them.
