I'm betwixt and between...
I sold a shotgun and I now have the $$ to put toward a chassis system for a Savage action that i have. It is a 4.27" stagger feed/top bolt release. I'm looking at the Mcrees and the XLR Element. They seem to be two of the more prevalent chassis systems out there. Anyone have experience with either/both? I will be using a PRS stock from Magpul.
I'm not interested in a Manners or McMillan. I like the ergos of the chassis system and ease of adjustability. Also, KRG doesn't make a stock for me. I'm open to other suggestions however the two mentioned above will easily accommodate my particular action.
Thanks in advance.

I have the xlr element chassis on a custom 700 LA, it is well worth the money and is very solid... they are made to very exacting tolerances that will make it fit very snug and sound when it's all together... it makes for a very accurate base for a shooting platform... 100% will recommend it for your use...:):what:
