I'm betwixt and between...
I sold a shotgun and I now have the $$ to put toward a chassis system for a Savage action that i have. It is a 4.27" stagger feed/top bolt release. I'm looking at the Mcrees and the XLR Element. They seem to be two of the more prevalent chassis systems out there. Anyone have experience with either/both? I will be using a PRS stock from Magpul.
I'm not interested in a Manners or McMillan. I like the ergos of the chassis system and ease of adjustability. Also, KRG doesn't make a stock for me. I'm open to other suggestions however the two mentioned above will easily accommodate my particular action.
Thanks in advance.
