I gave my brother a Surefire G2 for Christmas this year. That's their cheapest polymer flashlight, sans pocket clip. He has been very pleased with it, except for the lack of a pocket clip. He said it tends to roll around in his pocket. He would very much like one with a pocket clip like mine (an E2e).

The problem is this. Does Surefire make a cheap model that includes a pocket clip? All the ones with pocket clips that I've been able to find are metal, which is much more expensive. I can't seem to find a polymer bodied light with a pocket clip.

It seems like a very reasonable model for them to make. Is there one in existence?

If he wears a belt like the majority of his family he can get a nylon or kydex holster from the surefire website www.surefire.com. I know this is not a pocket clip but it beats buying a new light and puts the light in an accessable location.

Sort of a pocket clip...

I used to carry a G2 on my web gear (load bearing equipment). I wanted a clip to hold the light on my gear. I used an ALICE clip and attached it to the light with OD duct tape. The clip opened towards the head of the flashlight.

Cost was less than $1.

I'd think you could do something similar. Might not be pretty, but...
