The best deal of all, cast them yourself. You don't even have to spend big money to get started!

I can vouch for 44mag cast from:
Oregon Trail (found at retail locations, cabellas, etc)
Missouri Bullet Company (good deal at their site)

I hear good things about Montana Gold also.

DM~ is correct about casting them yourself, but I know that some people don't want to commit to that level.
We have a few commercial casters at this site who do a great job of providing quality cast bullets at reasonable prices. I'm not sure if they allow a discount for being a member here or not, but it can't hurt to ask.

You can now buy Missouri Bullet at Powder Valley for less than what you can buy with 5% THR discount on their site (Powder Valley pricing comes out around 10-12%+ less).

Of course, if there's a bullet you want that Powder Valley don't stock, then THR discount still works on Missouri Bullet's website. :D

Might be able to buy from PVI but they are out of stock on most MB products that they carry. So not a solid source.

Can not beat the quality.

If you don't cast, Missouri Bullet is about the best you'll find. Excellent product and service, and fair prices.

Well I ordered from Missouri Bullets but I don't know how to get the 5% discount... dang

As for casting bullets myself... idk I reload and love that but casting just seems way more complicated... i will have to look into it

I just purchased Missiouri Cast Lead from Powder Valley -- Price was the best I could find -- Shipping was fairly quick (ordered Tuesday and should receive on Friday) -- S/H was reasonable at about $9 for a 16 pound box (500 200 grain bullets -- 10K Grains -- 14.30 pounds of lead plus box and packing).

I searched other vendors but really did not find a better deal.

Nudder vote for Missouri Bullet Co.

I looked at several of the links provided & found MBC to be the least expensive.

Besides, Brad & Joanne are GREAT to deal with.
They use Priority Mail with Flat rate shipping.
You can order up to 4 boxes (2,000 bullets) for $13 (or is it $13.50) shipping

Anyway, it gets to you very fast - usually only 2 or 3 days.

http://www.mastercastbullets.com/productpricelist.html per 1000.

Beats 99.9% of the casters out there on price for 200 grain and up, and no one I have seen is even close on 95-125 grain or so bullets... Talking $18+ less per thousand just on the cost of the bullets w/o shipping factored in compared to many, and a lot more even still on 78/93/95 grain bullets.

Also, their shipping policy is very fair and reasonable; they will ship up to 500, 250 grain bullets at the less expensive $5.25 flat rate box rate... Real nice to have 1000 95 grain ".380 Auto" bullets shipped to your door for $5.25 +insurance via USPS, and not feel gouged on shipping.

I currently only shoot Mastercast Bullets (Mike out of Carbondale, IL) out of my 9mm Luger & 45ACP. I just actually ordered 3k of his 9mm 125gr LTCN and 2k of his 200gr LSWC (BHN 14) for my 45 ACP. I've spoken with Mike on several occassions. Great guy and he knows his stuff.

The softer 200gr LSWC is perfect over 5.0gr of HP-38/W231 and is a lot cheaper than everyone else. For target practice (primary purpose), his pricing can't be beat.

Was the price for these 14 BHN, 200 grain LSWC bullets still per the price sheet of $55.71/1000 when you ordered? If so, $34.80 per 500/about 69.00 per 1000 shipped to your door w/insurance is amazing... Might give my .45 cal molds a rest at that price.

Thanks.
