I don't know about absolute cheapest, but Missouri Bullets offers a wonderful product for a very fair price. Great company to deal with.

AFAIK, the cheapest price on gas checked cast rifle bullets is here:

But I never did get an order in. The guy takes orders every other Saturday morning, for a half hour, or so. Something like that. I decided it would be easier to cast my own.
If you're gonna use Red Dot velocities, you might be ok with a plain base bullet, I suppose.

Well, I dont know about cheap, but you can get lower cost quality bullets from Missouri Bullet!

Brad, the owner, is a member here and a heck of a good guy. They are a little bcked up from the crazy, but they still have decent turnaround. Before the crazy started it was a two to three day thing getting bullets from them. Great people.

If you can find the Xtreme plated bullet for 30 carbine, they are excellent 30-30/308/30-06 plinkers with 10-11g of Unique, Red Dot, Bullseye. The last box I got was about a year ago and was about $40/500. The store I got them from seemed to sell them cheaper than Xtreme direct.
It is a 110g .308 round nose bullet and works great as a plinker round easily getting 1" groups at 50 yards and very little recoil and noise.

I had a bad experience with my very first purchase of cast bullets so I asked on this forum what the norm was. Both MBC & RMR(I think) contacted me telling me if the bullets came from them they would be taken care of. I talked to Brad telling him it was probably over 300 of one bullet but only like 10-20 of two other types of bullets then there was 500 perfect. Two days later 1000 of the one bullet was being dropped of at my house. You can't best that service. I was shocked & have nothing praise for them. I was happy with the other guy responding to life also.

Only shot a few so far, but the pills I got from Badman Bullets were cheap and look flawless. Rapid shipping and helpful via phone and email. I believe they use a fairly soft alloy...
I really don't think you can go wrong with Missouri Bullets. Great product and a very reasonable price. Even with the madness, the order I placed a few days ago said it should ship in like 3 weeks, so can't complain about that. As stated above, on my other orders, they'd be on my doorstep within 2-3 days of placing the orders.
