So I wanted a stripe cap Houge grip for my king cobra but they don’t make it. I emailed Houge and asked “are you sure they don’t offer it? Cause it’s available for all the other models”! The man replied we can do it for you…. I said wonderful. Let’s do it. Well 2 months later here it is. Rosewood stocks with pau ferro cap. 160.00. I’m beyond thrilled. I do not have a part number. Anyone wants one I’d email them with part number you want and add stripe cap IMG_0323.jpeg IMG_0321.jpeg IMG_0324.jpeg IMG_0326.jpeg

It really was cool of them to do that. They could have said no way Jose and I would have respected that. The fact they offered it, didn’t make it super expensive, took the special order without money up front and called for payment just like they said they would. Got here quick too! They are my grip company from here on out. I’ve got a mountain gun in the works and it needs wood too. Will get stripe cap stocks unless I find some ahrends!

Sweet!! I have a kahr t9, and the wood grips are obnoxiously large. I’m gonna hit them up to see if they can custom make me some k9 grips, in a t9 length

I'm a big fan of custom grips. Joe

I think I had a grip fetish for my revolvers about twenty to twenty-five years ago, always trying different grip options for that perfect feel & function. The Houge grips seemed to be perfect for the KC, I've had them on my 86 KC for about a dozen years now.

Sweet looking custom Hogues, especially with that striped grip cap on the grip!

Good on them too for giving you exactly what you wanted!

Wow, that's super. Good for you. They look great. Enjoy!

Beautiful revolver!
I don't know why Colt went away from that trigger guard shape on the new King Cobra. The new style looks like it was made with bar stock and pliers.

Same here. First time I saw a new one in the LGS, I thought it had been dropped on the trigger guard and bent it!
