How much you want to bet that the same two knuckle heads engaging in a bidding war over a brick of .22 LR, each just bought a $3,000 AR and think that this is the ammo they need for it?

At $109, that's $36 a pack. Not too bad :)

That's a hefty sum for crap ammo. I had a bunch of that stocked ($11/325 at wallyworld pre-12/14), and the Remington 597 VTR I bought from another THR member patterned with it (seriously, 5-6" 50 yard groups). Same rifle with CCI and Remington ammo made 3/4" 50 yard 10-shot groups.

The pic clearly is of 325 packs.

The ad is misleading and contradicts its self.

I bet they got 975 total but may have thought they were bidding on "3 value packs with 975 rounds each".
 
That's nuts. clicking through the link shows another buy it now purchase completed for $125.

Yeah. I couldn't figure out what the OP was saying.

That's not a horrible price in the current environment.
 
Actually it works out to $6.41 per box of 50/$41.67 per 325 bulk pack, if I'm reading the amended listing correctly.
 
Those saying that is says 3 boxes of 975 rounds each. Yes, you are correct it does. However, take a little time to read further where the seller corrects himself.

It clearly states:
