Handling them in person didn't seem to change any readings about them online.

Basically the size of a G19 albeit a bit slimmer.

I think they are absolutely silly but I know folks will buy them so that makes anyone's opinion irrelevant.

Personally I think Glock would do better to improve on current models rather than create new non needed models.

I have no use for either of them and think they are a bit silly as well. However, I can understand how someone else might think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

They fill a need for a lot of folks and are ridiculous for a lot of folks.

But since they are Glocks, there will be much hyperbole and ignorant attacks, as usual, by the anti-Glockers.

I haven't really been excited about a new Glock model in a long time. Until the G48. I love my G19, but the slightly slimmer G48 would fit my lifestyle nicely, I think.

The thing about improvements is that some people love them, and some people just don’t care about them.
The 43x for example, has a more radiused slide with front cocking serrations. Some people, I’m sure will like that better. I don’t care.
The 43x has the little grove opposite the extractor. It throws cases into the next county. For me, the old setup was fine. I don’t care.

What I do care about, is that it’s a gun (43x) that handles just like another gun (G43) that I like, and it holds more rounds. That seems like an improvement to me.

And it fits in my G43 holsters. Win Win

Up until yesterday, any and all comments made by me about the G48 were purely theoretical, but I finally got to handle one yesterday. The grip, unsurprisingly, is markedly slimmer than my G19, and feels much better in my hand than just about any Glock I've ever handled. The G48 definitely landed on my Want List. It may have just replaced the VP9SK on my Want list, but I'm not totally sure about that. I don't see parting with my G19 to finance it (I have a very hard time parting with proven guns), but I'll work on scrimping and saving until I can get one.

That's a common response from what I've seen. I just wish they'd finally fix the glock knuckle hump. I don't really enjoy filing/cutting on factory frames.

The Gen 5 G19 I picked up shot well this weekend with factory ammo at 15 yards. I’m actually interested in the 43x for summer carry due to its slimmer profile and single stack mags. I’ve been out of the Glock market for over 15 years and am now slowly getting back in,
