I put the factory scope mount onto my Henry Bigboy Steel and mounted a Leupold VX3 in low rings. Unfortunately, the steep sloping stock makes it impossible for me to get a good cheek weld when using the scope. I tried the Beartooth comb available from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Beartooth-Stock-Comb-Raising-Kit/dp/B002L9JQ4E) but it doesn't fit the stock right.
Has anyone used a riser with a Henry rifle or a similar lever action rifle and found it to work well? If so, which one?
