His usual nonsense, "Should a husband and wife be allowed to buy more than two guns a month?" Allowed he said. Nice.

Oh, and of course those nasty 'assault' weapons shouldn't be 'allowed' to be sold here in the PRI. Allowed again, he seems fixated on allowing us something that we're guaranteed to have by the USC. Not to mention that he has assault mixed up with semi-autos...

Buckle up guys, we may be in for a rough ride. Forum rules don't allow me to say what I think of this person. The sad part is this is the real power behind the new governor.

Daley is a moron. I cannot fathom how this man was a State's Attorney. How did the jury understand a closing argument with his stammering and complete lack of logic?

Did my 3 years (time off for good behavior in grad skul). Thank God I am somewhere sane. Good luck to Illinois, time to send another check!

Criminals don't like private citizens to own weapons and Daley comes from a family with a long criminal history. You know why William Daley (Richard's brother) represented Gore in Florida during the 2000 election fiasco? Because the Democratic party knew to go to the expert in election stealing. The Daley family in Chicago perfected the art of election fraud years ago and are so skilled they never get caught.

scary!!!!!

Good comment about the family of felons, and probably no one knows how to run an election like the Daily family. I think we all have ex-governor soon to be convict Ryan, to thank for the election results, he was soo crooked I know people that would have voted for Attila the Hun instead of another republican. Of course I don't see the other Ryan, Jim as being much better for gun owners. In fact I heard Sarah Brady said we had two good men running for gov. I am too old to move away, so I will just hope things don't get too bad untill we can elect a governor that can read and understand the constitution, and respect our rights. I have hopes because several down state Democratic state house and senate members are pro gun. In fact 4 years ago the Democrat running for gov. was a pro gun man that Ryan protrayed as a "radical pro gun nut" that wanted all the gang bangers to have guns. In Illinois you really have to do some research on who is our friend. Jim.

Maybe we can set up some sort of exchange program in Indiana. We'll give Illinois 2 antis for every progun person they send to us. Daly would be happy to get more likeminded voters to tax and we would have more jobs available here. Sounds like a winner all the way around :D

He's making way for Blagoviech :banghead: Why do you think they have been so quiet, they are planning something. :scrutiny:

Daley has been in there for way too long, they really need to change how many terms you can serve. Then again, Chicago may get Jesse Jackson as new mayor

Of course I don't see the other Ryan, Jim as being much better for gun owners.

Yeah, I'd say the botched internet "sting" his office ran was a good indication of that.

Why do you think they have been so quiet, they are planning something.

I've been wondering about this myself... You know Madigan ( :fire: ) would love to enforce an AW ban.

daley just plain sucks thats all crappy windy city politicians. i love chicago because of the people i know who live there and i like downtown and i like going to clubs there but i just can't stand daley. richie daley what a joke !!!:cuss:

In addition to being treasonous for not following the US constitution, that whole bunch is so crooked that when they die, somebody will just take a big pipe wrench and screw them into the ground. Good riddance.

That is an insensitive and rude remark, an affront to all morons everywhere!

Daly is NOT a moron; he is in that class of individual described thus:

If he had no brains at all, he'd have more than what he has now.

There's a movement on here in Indiana to invade the PRI and "deal" with certain infected areas. Must contain the plague before it spreads over here.

I was hoping Blago was just too busy with the budget and patronage work. I should have known better. Our best chance right now might be to divide either Blago from Mell or Mell from Daley.

I just started a new job reporting on the legislature, and I sit and listen to these people blather all day long. You can't imagine the sheer stupidity.

"So, who are we gonna screw today? That's off the record, right? Ha HA!"
--unknown IL Representative just before the first meeting of the House State Government Committee.

hey what ever you do don't fire on this operitive !!I am from the hoosier, I am all for the anti /pro trade and should be considered first in line !!! GET ME OUT OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!! as for the invasion lets go !! :what: :what: Beam me hoosiers theres NO intelligent life in this state !! and if you invade beware they have soccor balls here!!! oops  I almost said there was intellegent life here

By the way, if anyone wants a bit of light reading that'll illustrate what life in Illinois is like, you can contact me and I can get you a copy of "The Master List." This is the list of all patronage and favors demanded of and granted by George Ryan during his single term as Governor. His idiot chief of staff, Fawell, actually wrote it all down and kept records, which has proved very convenient in his federal racketeering trial.

It's 555 pages long in book form, due out next week from a Springfield printing company.

El Tejon, the chair is against the wall.

Coonan, start recruiting, we'll drop the Liberator pistols soon. El Tejon will be flying so keep your heads down.

I have recriutes where going to try to cut the fence and make a run for it tommorow .:D as for el tejon flying !!! ah I hope he flys better than he shoots ... you know those casablanca types ...:scrutiny:

This state has become too corrupt for me and I grew up in Chicago. Politicians in other states are corrupt too but at least they don't stick it in your face. The attitude among IL pols is "If you don't like it, what are you going to do about it.?" So, as soon as this house is sold we are off to San Antonio and morons like Daley will have to make their way through life without my assistance.

Ok, how do you want my grid coordinates for the Liberator pistol drop? MGRS or UTM?

I think we could easily seize control of the state from I70 South. Give us a base from which to operate from. Only a couple high speed avenues of approach from the North (I55 and I57).....

Seriously...for the first time in my life, I'm looking at permanently moving. This means giving up property (including land with my own range) and walking away from my roots....I won't live with Chicago style gun laws.

I have yet to hear of any proposals for firearms legislation yet. I'm hoping that the budget crisis will keep the legislature busy for awhile.

I have been all over the world...including some not so nice places in the third world...for the most part, Illinois politicians from county board on up would do well in any sub-Saharan socialist workers paradise....

Jeff

PS Oleg-send me those contacts in Nashville...really looking at my options now
