These are Tiger Head/Norinco guns. Im wondering if anyone has ever used or owned one of these.

Im looking for a gun to shoot some "occasionaly" clays with. We shoot a couple times a year out in a field for fun...nothing serious and no competition.

Go to their website and check out the crap. They are listing incomplete, broken stocks etc. Why would you want something like that. If you want cheap look at Stoeger and Remington Spartan guns. They are not great but head and shoulders above that junk.

They are also listing new in box.....undamaged guns for $199.

Im wanting something for OCCASIONAL use.....thats why Im looking cheap.

Has anyone handled one of these or Im I just going to get the "why would you want one of these pieces of junk" replies?

I believe that Dunhams carries some of these guns. Stop in a local store and find out. Then you would have first hand experience to see how they look and feel to you.

BozemanMT, you know that I hate cheap shotguns. I just believe there are low priced guns that are better than others. Would I buy one, no, but there are serviceable guns in the low priced range for people on a tight budget.

Chinese-made shotguns seem to be a hit-or-miss proposition. Some guys buy the Rem 870, Ithaca 37, or Winchester 97 copies and never have any problems. Others have issues from the word "go".

Overall, their quality seems to be gradually improving and I've got a couple that work fine. I would suggest that these are guns that you would want to examine in person before purchase, if practical.

For the 2nd time in history I agree with oletymer.

there are some decent valued guns (not necessarily "cheap") but those chinese ones aren't it.
