It's already been said but for an inexpensive red dot I think the Bushnell TRS-25 is the best one for or around 100 bucks! UTG/ Leapers is ok if you get a good one ,but I had 2 out of 3 go bad on me so I won't buy another one.

The Tasco red dot for $30 ain't bad for a cheap one. The Tru-glo ones seem to work pretty well too.

Guys, if you have taken apart a HP carbine, the rail is held to the sheet metal top cover with a couple screws. The sheet metal cover is held to the action with a couple removable pins. It ain't that precise.

On the other hand, that gun's not a lot of money, terribly fun to shoot, and mine shoots palm sized groups at 25yds with a cheap sight and an operator who's mostly focused on having fun with it.

No need to buy a Ferrari when a Hyundai will get the job done. And leave money for a couple cases of ammo.

Not sure if you already made your purchase but I went with a TRS-25 for my PCC (CX4) and love it. Very easy to zero and has pretty good reviews. I like the 3 MOA dot and didn't want one any larger. Another option if you are still looking would be a Vortex Strikefire w/ magnifier. While I have no personal experience I looked at them very closely for my carbine.
