Christmas reloading stuff what did ya get

I told my wife she bought me 1500 xtreme 158gr RNFP 38/357 bullets and 3k primers so no other presents necessary. That and a Ruger Security six to shoot them in. She agreed but did mention her 16 year old car needs to be replaced with a new one. Sheez!! She sure knows how to waste money.

Winner, winner!

I got a Magnetospeed V3 barrel mounted chronograph from the wife. Any bets I can put a bullet through that too?

A scheels and a Cabelas gift cards.

That may be reloading components. Or fishing gear. Or another good gun case.

I don’t really need much.

My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas as I was online looking for a barrel mounted chronograph. I told her and canceled my search, or I would have had it a month ago.

Insulated gloves, thermal socks and propane Buddy heater to stay toasty testing loads in colder weather.

And small shop vac to keep reloading area clean, already used the LED light to find things in the dark and extra driver/drill along with battery powered "chain saw" to finish out welded trailer to use as shooting platform (May even add mount for reloading press).

frankford arsenal rotary tumbler liteView attachment 1123192

I've got that same tumbler and magnet. Congrats, you'll like that set up. The pins tend to want to congregate in the window of the tumbler so I recomment running the tumbler on a slight incline and flipping the drum every hour or so.

The magnet will not go all the way down into the drum so eventually you have-to dump brass in order to sweep remaining pins with the magnet.

30 rd Stocking stuffers!

Hard to beat the deals on the Gen II PMags offered by PSA. They're great mags for the money. We buy them by the bucket loads around here. We'll spend a little extra to buy looped shock absorbers for those mags which extends their lives exponentially and make them more utilitarian and ergonomic.

Darn I forgot to ask for bullets. I got a jackpot on reload supplies.

Sheeeeeesh .... would love to score some CCI SPPs. Those have been unobtainium for awhile now.

Me? I got something I didn't really need and have no room for, but I'm not complaining. They meant well. I got a complete Rebel Press kit.

Wife and I bought our own presents, cause at our age we don’t play guessing games! LOL She got a new rug and silver blue Maine Coon Cat coming from Europe. I got a Foster Co Ax. First litter of kittens, I get a Dillon 1100! So who is the winner here really? LOL

Seen those kits. They are really nice! Lots of good stuff in that one. If I didn’t have two new RCIVs I would get one like the Rebel’s deprimer disposal much better.

Got one of those Frankford arsenal deprimers. Like this -

Had to try it out, so I deprimed 70 pieces of 7.62x54R from the (cold, very cold) match this past Saturday.

I must say, I like it. It worked a treat, easy on the hands, easy to operate. Although, I'm ashamed to say I did actually read the directions prior to use.... perhaps that had something to do with the ease of use.

Nah.... no way.

In the reloading category I got a Sinclair "large" expander die body and a .358 expander mandrel.

My other gifts were a Mystery Ranch Pop Up 38 daypack, a Bartlein 2B .308" barrel that will go on my trued Rem 700 receiver, and a $100 Cabela's gift card as I'm gearing up for an elk hunt next fall.

One does need to check for movement. I've never seen the blade shot but the strap is less fortunate.

Nothing reloading wise but a bunch of shooting related stocking stuffers. Chamber flags, a slip on recoil pad, Bipod and cheek riser for my new CZ 457. I gave away a few bricks of CCI SV .22lr to my son and future SIL.

Target Sports sent me a .30 Cal ammo can filled with goodies: an OTIS rifle cleaning kit, a bottle of Hoppes bore cleaner and oil for being a Club Member.

I also have that tool, and like it The collets are a little flimsy so be careful.
