Could some please tell me the proper way to clean a chrome barrel, some people say you can use a brush some say don't use a brush it will hurt the barrel just a bore cleaner on the barrel with a swab. Also the proper way to clean the gas cylinder. If you stand the gun upright and spray brake clean or bore cleaner up it and use a swab [ with no brush] will you plug the vent holes.
THANK YOU

Bronze bore brush, powder solvent, patches.

You cannot hurt the bore with a bore brush.

The gas vent holes in the barrel are self cleaning due to the hi-pressure gas escaping through them every shot.
Solvent will not clog them up.

Take the gas system apart to clean it.
