Tried to use my Ciener conversion for my Colt 1991 Compact. Would only fire an occasional round. Brought it back and stripped it and cleaned everything really well. Upon further inspection it would appear that the firing pin is worn short and so does not strike the rim consistently.

Now here is the question. I went on their website and it directs me to their purchasing forum but no questions format. I dialed their number and got a recorded message that said essentially, "we are too busy filling orders or designing new products to be bothered to take your call. Everything you need to know you can find on our website" What kind of service is that?

If you want to chek it out for yourself the phone # is 321 868 2200.:cuss:

Nothing new there.

Ciener Customer Service is non-existent, and always has been as long as I can remember.

That's the reason I will never spend another dime on one of their products, ever.

I bought a Kimber .22 caliber conversion kit for my model 1911 pistol. Works just fine. No customer service problems.

I've seen Advantage Arms conversion kits for Glock pistols. They're a lot more impressive than the Ciener kits.
