I have carried my gen 3 for six years now and we recently got in some gen 4 22s. I had a chance to get one of the new ones but I couldnt part with mine just yet.
 
I thought it wasn't proper to have sentimentalism about a Glock. It goes against their purpose. :)

I sort of wish I would have held onto my Gen2 Glock before getting the Gen3. If I get the Gen4 I'll probably keep the Gen3 for a while to make sure I won't regret it.

I really wish they would have included the glock extended slide release on all the Gen4 models. It just seems like something that should become an included feature.
