After discussing this 'blurb' I have come to the conclusion that since the two have now become related, it's only logical a hymn be sung when a weapon is carried or used. My thoughts;

Any black powder weapon- Battle Hymn of the Republic
SAA Colt - Give Me that Old Time Religion.
1911 45 Auto - Rock of Ages.
Garand, Springfield or Lee Enfield - Onward Christian Soldiers.
Glock - Lord I'm Coming Home.
