I just bought a Glock 21 and the trigger seems horrible. I went to a certain Glock website and sent an email and he said that I should put a LWD 3.5 connector in it, so I orderd one. Has anyone else put one in and is it gonna make a big difference?

How much experience with Glocks do you have?

The 3.5 pound connector will make the trigger pull lighter, but not necessarily
better. The trigger will have a more consistant resistance from start to finish, like a revolver.
When I used a 3.5 pound connector, I added the NY-1 trigger spring to bring the trigger pull weight back up to 5 pounds. This also improves the trigger reset and is a great action shooting trigger, but not the best for bullseye.

Some will argue that a light trigger on a self defence gun is a liability (physical liability, not legal). I tend to agree.

I put a LWD 3.55 connector in my glock 17 and it makes a big difference for me. With the stock connector the trigger weight made me pull the sights off target. With the 3.5 connector it's much better. Mark

the stock trigger is just fine and they are easy to master with time, and rds down range, you will get used to the factory trigger and it should wear in with time. i think that on a fighting handgun used for defense/ccw etc the stock trigger should be used. there are worse glock triggers out there like the "new york" trigger.

i had one on a 19 and i replaced it with a stock, it came with the gun it also had an extended slide release which i dumped. the only thing that stayed on the glock 19 that i had was the xs 24/7 sights that i recommend. especially compared to the factory glock sights which are plastic, if i were to change anything it wold be the sights and that is it and the rest would be left alone.

IMHO: Very Bad idea on a gun that might ever be used for CCW or SD for two reasons.

1. Much easier to set it off if you snag on something re-holstering.
2. More likely to have an ND in a high-stress, finger-twitch rich environment during a confrontation.

I'd learn to live with the stock trigger unless it's just going to be a range plinking gun.

3.5 lb. connector plus a 25 cent polish job with a dremel tool. Did wonders for my G21SF. I also ordered a trigger stop from LWD, but had to custom fit it to the G21SF's slimmer back strap. LWD has a combo of springs and parts to give you what they call "the best trigger".

You will get biggest improvement by doing the $ .25 trigger job. Lots of the internals just need a little polish to make things better. All you need is some Flitz, or Red Rouge, elbow grease and patience to shine up all of those little parts. That and a Ghost rocket 3.5# connector, and little trigger smoothing. All parts are not made the same though and sometimes you simply have a bad combination of parts and need to swap things around until you get the right combination.
