Looking for a winter coat that will pack both Heats
I've looked at the 5.11 Tactical Products but didn't see anything I really liked.
Any other sources in this Line of Products that sell via the Net?

What sort of build are you? What kind of guns do you carry? How do you prefer to carry (crossdraw, shoulder holster, what?) You didn't provide much info to go on.

Why not just wear a regular winter coat you like and adapt your holster to fit? you can probably get away with OWB a lot easier in whatever coat you already own, and if you wear IWB you can probably wear a much bigger pistol in the winter.

buy the nicest coat you can afford that has a double zipper and side access outer hand pockets. this allows you to open the coat from the bottom when you are sitting. keeps the coat from bunching up in your lap and it keeps the pockets by your side. get some canvass or heavy denim and take out one or both hand pockets and sew these in. local tailor charges me $5 each. make them a bit over sized with a divider such that you can keep the nug separate from your keys. you may also consider a slice made on the inside of the pocket to allow the hand in your pocket to 'touch' things on your belt even when the coat is closed. have the slice over stitched so it wont unravel. its why i like a 642--it is very unlikely to jam when fired inside a pocket. and a hand in your pocket peeking out magically from under your coat holding a defender will certainly give a BG pause to think about bad decisions he has made--past and present.

I don't zip up my coat when carrying (OWB). I would just use a normal jacket but make sure it doesn't have any drawstrings or something that can catch your weapon when you fling it open.
